Simple Subcontractor Agreement Template Word
A subcontract is entered into between a contractor who entrusts a subcontractor to assist in the completion of a project or service. The independent contractor usually has a service contract with a customer, most often in the construction sector, and chooses to use a subcontractor to contract some or all of the services. The agreement should describe all the obligations, commitments and responsibilities of the subcontractor, as well as all other conditions. The tenth article of this document (“X. Subcontracting”) deals with the question of whether the subcontractor authorizes the subcontractor to hire other persons to fulfill the contract described here. If so, select the first control box called “Right to subcontracting”. If the contractor considers this not appropriate, select the “No subcontracting” box. If the subcontractor has the right to hold rights under this Agreement or with respect to the “.. Heirs, executors, successors and addressees of the assignment” then mark the first control box in the eleventh article (“XI. Attribution”). If not, select the control box, which is preceded by the word “Must not.” The following article, “XII. Insurance”, will request the insurance status required by the subcontractor. If the subcontractor needs to have insurance for this order, select the “Must” box and follow the list below.
If not, select the “Do not do” box. If the subcontractor is required to maintain insurance, we must provide some details about the checklist provided. This will require the minimum dollar amount required on the insurance policy indicated on the void provided. Check the third box if the subcontractor must have “deductible liability insurance”. If so, note the minimum amount that the subcontractor must have in the policy using the blank line according to the character of the dollar. If an “additional insurance requirement” needs to be met, select the fourth check box. If this statement is marked, make sure that both parties are fully aware of the terms of their content. If “both parties have the opportunity to terminate the terms of this Agreement”, activate the fourth checkbox in this article and indicate how many (business) days the notice must be given by the resilient party prior to termination of the agreement in the blank line indicated. .
